My cousin Debbie is a certified foodie. She loves tasting new dishes and trying it out in their kitchen by cooking it herself and making everyone at home taste it themselves. She has always been like that.

Now that she is through with high school, she wants to be able to stop even for a year or two before embarking on a college degree pursuit. She is also looking for Cooking Jobs where she can use the experience she has in her kitchen and where she knows she can make use of her ability to create new dishes.

I think we can all agree that it is utterly frustrating to experience a power interruption in the middle of working. Am I right? Aubrey will be working for a big hospital as an intern starting January of next year. Like they spent Friday night browsing the web to read the top 10 truck gps at the source. He will buy one and she knows Jane is a techy person so he asked her opinion on it. Imagine spending three hours at Jane’s den browsing the web and discussing technical stuff and Jane’s happy with it!

I was browsing through hundreds of books that were on sale when all of a sudden I heard someone scream (not too loudly but enough to turn heads) and call out my name. Two of my long lost college friends were also in the bookstore browsing books just like me! I won’t bore you with the details of our trip down memory lane but suffice it to say that our mini chat in the bookstore turned into an all-night reminiscing in a restaurant in Timog. Good thing the restaurant furniture were the comfy ones or we would have gotten blisters on our backsides from the length of time we sat there talking, eating, drinking and just plain laughing at the past.

It was a very memorable night for us. We are still in touch and we will be seeing each other again soon.

My uncle celebrated his 50th birthday last week. Everyone had a blast at the party my aunt and my cousins threw for him. At the end of the party, my uncle opened gifts and his smile was getting wider and wider as he opened one gift after another. He got a fishing rod, a humidor, a couple of shirts, a golf club, and a vacation for two for him and my aunt from their kids! He was so happy with his loot that he kept on telling everyone about it, again and again even if everyone already heard of it. Hahaha!

He’s always been easy to please. But I think more than the gifts he got, it’s the presence of everyone he loves that really made him happier than he can ever be.

Aunt Hilda still have five more weeks to prepare for her annual Halloween party. She throws the best spooky party year after year and people, both family and friends, really anticipate getting their Halloween invitations. It’s a well coveted invite and one where guests also prepare their best spooky costume to use.

I am not much into partying but when I know there’s so much fun to be had, like Aunt Hilda’s Halloween party, I go out of my way to attend it. Anyway, it happens once a year and both young, old and the young at heart, love it!

Holly is stuck at home. He broke her ankle and the doctor told her to stay put and not use her left leg too much or the bones won’t set. With nothing to do, she asked her parents for a tv set of her own and some rca video cables so she can do dvd marathons and even some tv shows that she had no time to watch before.

It would have been a nightmare for Holly to be inside the house 24/7. But now that she has some things to do, she is fine cooped up inside her bedroom. Anyway, her friends would come over after work and on weekends aside from the couch potato state she is happy to be in.

If there is one thing that I want to take care of by next year, it is the state of the family’s finances. I am saving up. We are all saving up. We want to invest on real estate properties as well as some investment schemes that we are very much interested in due to positive feedback from family friends but we are only a bit familiar with.

I think I will talk to the Missoula, MT wealth management group about these plans that me and my family have in mind. We want to make sure that our finances are properly in place.

Brian is training for his new job. He will be assigned to handle the machine for SMT Stencils. It is a new process for the new products the company will offer to the public and Brian is actually excited to be the first person to be handling the machine.

Brian is a banker but he shifted to another industry. He’s always more comfortable doing jobs using his hands and creativity. This is a good first job for him. He is thinking of using this as a stepping stone to a much better job as an artist in the future. And that will be five years from now.

If you experienced a raging storm like that of Ondoy, I am sure you will find having a steel storm shelter is the best option out there. We can’t do anything with a coming storm but prepare for it. Storms are acts of nature and out of our control. Best prepare for it than wait for it to happen before doing anything.

The condominium building where my cousin has a unit is having problems with water supply. My cousin comes over in the morning to use the bathroom at home. She told us that the building administration is doing something about it. My dad said that they just need to get WeGotPumps industrial pumps and it will help with getting a steady supply of water. Three couples in the area where I live are getting married before the year ends. It’s big news here in our place because it’s been years since someone got married. The couples will be tying the knot in successive weeks so we are all excited about the big events that will happen by then.

I have to stay at home this weekend. My friends are asking me to join them in a weekend getaway but since my mom asked me to stay, I had to decline their invitation. Mom asked me to help her with the water softener and we will also be doing some general cleaning. We are also going to do some grocery shopping since this Sunday we will be entertaining guests at home.

Maybe next weekend I can go on a getaway. But for now, it’s stay at home and helping the Mom.

Pia is enrolling in a medical assistant school. She is on the right path to becoming a medical professional. She actually wanted to become a doctor but as her parents could not afford it, she opted to enroll in a medical assistant school. Anyway, later on when she already has enough money, she can continue studying to become a doctor.

Truth is, that’s what Pia has in mind. Medical assistant for now, a medical doctor in the near future. She is hoping to finish school as soon as possible to start working to save up for medical school for doctors.

Janis is setting up her two-bedroom condo unit. One bedroom will be hers and the other will become a guest room. She always has someone over, a cousin or a friend or an older relative, so she thought she might as well make use of the spare room for just that purpose. She is ordering bunk beds free shipping. Her parents and her uncles and aunts promised her a grad party and lots of presents from each of them.

My friend was corresponding with me regarding some documents that she and her kids needed to process the latter’s residence visa abroad. Patty is not feeling well. Her friends know about it so they are going to order flowers for her. Flowers cheer her up! Most especially a bunch of colorful flowers. It’s also something that she makes sure her house always has.

Maddie, one of Patty’s friends, is the one ordering the flowers for the group. She will send it to Patty’s house and after office hours, Maddie and the rest of their friends will troop to Patty’s house with food and some entertainment.
