FLC’s Thinking Out Loud

There are days when I feel like going to another place like Outer Banks and stay there even for a few days. Just to unwind and recharge. It would be good to leave work and worries behind even for a while. It would probably be good not just for the mind but also for the body. Imagine yourself away from all the things that stresses you… feels good just by thinking about it, right? What more if you are actually experiencing it!

My cousin has a lovely puppy. A Japanese Spitz. She is really so into her pet that she brings Althea, her pet’s name, everywhere she goes. If she can only bring Althea in school, she would have found a way to do so, I am sure. She bought her a bed of her own, some cute clothes, pet supplements, a comb and a tiara and other accessories that makes Althea even cuter. When they are together, you can see that my cousin loves Althea and Althea adores her “mum” so much!

I would like to get a new bedroom. But because I only have two rooms in my condo unit, I had no choice but the other room. But it is smaller than the one I have right now. A cousin of mine suggested that I just have the room renovated or redecorated, whatever I can afford. I thought of redecorating it for now. I bought some new pieces, including vessel sinks for the bathrooms, inside my bedroom as well as the bathroom in the other room. I bought a new bed, a slightly smaller one that what I had. When I was checking out the room and imagining the new pieces, I know it will be good for now.

My friend, Shen, has been asking me to accompany her and her fiance to check out some places that they can use for their official engagement party. I actually suggested three venues already and they checked out two of it. They want me to accompany them for the third venue. I could go with them except that I am quite busy this week. I also suggested a possible place for them to go to for their honeymoon. I told them that they can go check out the Hilton Head rental I told Shen about. I just might be invited to go with them to their honeymoon, I don’t know. Just kidding! Shen is just like a sister to me and I was the one who introduced Ron, her fiance. That is probably I am this important to them. It feels good, to be quite honest.

Who does not love house music? If you are a party goer, chances are you are well-acquainted with this type of music. I love hearing this kind of music because it evokes energy and positive vibes. It also wakes you up when you are feeling sleepy and sluggish. I also love the fact that this type of music makes you feel like dancing.

I have a friend who loves to go to bars and have some drinks with friends. I went out with her a couple of times with our other friends and to tell you the truth, I could not keep up with her. She is full of energy and the life of the party. She is very friendly, she knows a lot of people. I was amazed at how she knew even the bartenders and the bouncers of the bar. She knows practically everyone there. And the music, she knows all of it by heart! You know what I found the next day the first time I went out with her to that bar she frequents, she gets her ‘high’ on that place. By high I mean the house music being played in that bar energizes her like no other. It makes her feel alive and ready to take on the world.
