FLC’s Thinking Out Loud

My sister’s best friend has always been thin. She is not slim but thin. Beats Lipovox, I think. She’s always been like that. Ever since I’ve known her when we were still little kids, her body structure has never changed.

In a way, my sister and I are envious. While the two of us struggle to lose weight, my sister’s best friend eats like a construction worker but her body never changes. It’s still the same. I wish mine is like that. Then I could eat all I want without feeling the guilt afterwards.

Hero has been going on and on about his new business. I am excited for him, yes. But there is a limit to the number of exclamations he could shout in front of me. It’s irritating. I actually told him that. After a few days, he is back to his rants and raves. He even said something about authorize.net that held my interest far more than his other rants and raves. Some people can be insensitive to your feelings. They don’t care if you have better things to do than listen to their rants and raves.

I tripped over my dad’s air tools yesterday. I was not wearing my eye glasses and since I am blind as a bat without them, I did not see the tools when I went looking for something in the storage room. My ankle is swollen right now, sprained. Good thing I do not have to go out of the house today. Otherwise I will surely be limping and wincing from so much pain.

I was asked by someone I just met what other people don’t know about me. Well, a lot of people don’t know that I love reading novels. Mystery and thriller. I actually ordered some and the Amazon books are on their way. I read a lot. I can finish a thick book in a day, two if I really need some sleep. I normally spend my weekends reading. And once I am into a book, expect me to be incoherent for a brief period of time.

I may not look like it but I am a sports enthusiast. I love football! I wish our city caters to the sport but if I want to watch a live game, I have to drive for an hour before I get to the nearest field and watch one. Since a cousin of mine knows how much I love the game, he gave me a football that now is prominently displayed in my bedroom.
