Thinking Out Loud

I am so happy that a friend of mine alerted me to the personal creations coupon. I want to give something for my friend’s kids who are living with me temporarily. Both kids were deprived of the proper care when they were left with their grandmother. It’s a shame that they grew up that way and when my friend finally realized what’s happening to her kids, she took them away from her mother!

Now, the kids are slowly ‘recovering’ from the neglect they suffered. They are slowly becoming ‘normal’ kids again. I feel pity for the kids that’s why I want to shower them with gifts! But since I am always on a tight budget these days, the coupon from personal creations will be a big help in this plan of mine.

Amy saw her sister looking at a medical job listing online. Amy’s sister is a nursing graduate. She didn’t pass the board exams and for a while was so devastated by it she became depressed and a loner.

But when Amy saw her looking at that listing, she suddenly felt hopeful. She knows her sister already recovered from the disappointment of not passing the board. She will ask her if she needs help in getting a job or if she wants to review again to try in the next board exams for nurses.

Since she’s no longer with him, there will be no one to cuddle with at night. Good thing she has a body pillow she sleeps with. There will be no one to warm her at night when it’s cold. Good thing she has an electric blanket always ready. No one to reassure her that everything will be fine when she’s one of her dramatic moods.

But that’s life. You win some, you lose some. That doesn’t pertain to things only. That also pertains to persons in our lives.

My good friend and her fiance are going on a romantic getaway next weekend. My friend is preparing for it and has actually bought a camouflage lingerie to wear there. She is so excited because the last time they went anywhere together was close to a year ago.

I know the high these things can bring to a person. Something to look forward to, especially with someone you love to be with! I do hope that my good friend and her fiance will enjoy their getaway. They need to forget the city life and their work for a few days to relax and have fun!

Buy Hats. That’s what Melissa intends to do on her trip abroad. She collects different types of hats. Some hats from her collection she was able to buy cheap. The rest really put a dent on her savings account. But since collecting hats makes her happy, she really indulges when she has some extra from her paychecks.

I think we all have things that make us happy. Things that others won’t easily understand. In my case, for some reason, having so many purses and wallets makes me happy. Buying a new one puts a smile to my face.

Martin wants to blend in with the men in his neighborhood. He likes to belong, more than the average guy. That’s why when he noticed the men smoke cigars, he took time out to know what they like and bought it for them. He got them montecristo cigars and, well, he got “in”. The men appreciate Martin’s efforts to blend in with them and since he has this easy disposition, he is generally liked by all.

Martin is now smoking cigars with the men in the neighborhood. They meet on Friday nights to smoke and just hang out.
