
I have read somewhere that maintaining a journal, online or otherwise, is good for you. I do believe that a journal is good for a person’s mental well being. Consider this scenario: Hollie is the person we will be talking about. Hollie’s parents are always busy with work. Hollie is a loner and has few friends. She is a very private person and is not comfortable discussing her problems with others. Who does she talk to? To whom will she pour out her feelings? A journal can serve that purpose!
I know that a journal is a poor substitute for a parent or a friend. But then, at least there is an outlet for poor Hollie, don’t you think?
