Thinking Out Loud

It would have been cool had we gotten the hotel rooms that we were targeting to book two weeks ago. It was located very near a beach resort. The rooms are really luxurious but with affordable rates. Queen-sized beds with two extra sofa beds, a spacious bathroom complete with bathtub and copper sinks, and a great view of the sea. Unfortunately, bookings go as far as end of May already. Sometime in July or August, we will try again.

I am no good with numbers. I am honest about it. My siblings are, thank goodness! At least there are people good in numbers in the family. So when a cousin told me about conversion rate optimization, I told him I don’t know what he’s talking about. Which is true. I had to call my sister to ask her about it and that’s when I understood what it’s all about. Thank goodness for siblings!

I am going to be checking with my doctor by next week again. I am consulting her regarding weight loss pills. I want to be able to get some more “help” in losing weight. I have embarked on a weight loss journey and I am proud to say that I am starting to lose weight by the end of last week. Now, I am checking whether I can aid my journey with the weight loss pills I read about.

Time to check cheaper essentials before the month ends. And by essentials I mean insurance and other important stuff. A friend told me about the no exam life insurance that she got for her mom. I might get one for my dad as well. The one that my dad has right now will be expiring in less than a month and is higher than the quotes my agent is giving me. I know getting a new one is essential.

One of the bosses in my cousin’s office was giving away membership cards that they can use at a big exclusive supermarket in the city. My cousin is thrilled because she got one. It’s hard to get in that supermarket because most items are not found elsewhere. Exclusive only for members. Now, they can shop there as well. And I can probably tag along!
