For home

I saw a couple of espresso machines when I went to the mall yesterday and I was so tempted to buy one for home. I am a coffee drinker. I love espresso. When my friends come over to spend some time with me, I always order espresso to be delivered at home. So I thought why not buy a machine so that I can mix an espresso myself rather than order it all the time?

Year-end inventory

Now that the year is ending, I am taking inventory of the whole house. I am more particular with locks, doors, and everything that has to do with home security. I will also be replacing the kitchen faucet because of the leak. Windows will also be checked to make sure there is no way someone can get in the house without us knowing about it. We do this every year to make sure our home is still safe.

Things to do today…

I actually have a lot of things to accomplish today. I have to run some errands as well as buy some grocery items. I also have to check out the coilovers that my sister was telling me about. And I have to organize a family reunion again for this coming January 2nd. There are just so many things to do today that all the aches and pains in the body have to take a backseat for now.

Crazy idea

I was watching this travel show and it shown various las vegas suites. It reminded me of my goal to stay in one. I have never stayed in a suite before. Sure, I stayed at different hotels already. But my budget just couldn’t afford a suite. One of these days, I just might blow my budget and stay in one. Crazy idea but I would want to experience things. One of those things is to travel to different countries and stay in suites.

Never changes

My sister’s best friend has always been thin. She is not slim but thin. Beats Lipovox, I think. She’s always been like that. Ever since I’ve known her when we were still little kids, her body structure has never changed.

In a way, my sister and I are envious. While the two of us struggle to lose weight, my sister’s best friend eats like a construction worker but her body never changes. It’s still the same. I wish mine is like that. Then I could eat all I want without feeling the guilt afterwards.

Crazy argument

There was a crazy argument that happened between two of my officemates about two weeks ago. One of them was talking about a paternity test and the other was arguing about child support. Naturally, since they argued on the floor, human resources learned of what happened and they were called on the carpet, so to speak. They were warned that a similar incident will automatically terminate their contracts.

Personally, I really think it’s crazy that they brought their issues to work. Personal disputes should never be talked about in the office. It tends to create a discord among co-workers and awkwardness between the two of you. Crazy stuff!

Soon!

I think that I need to buy some modern furniture for our new home. The home that we bought is very modern and bringing in our old furniture just made the place look odd. Slowly, I will try to purchase new furniture as my savings grow big. I can’t buy in one single swoop. But I will make sure that our new home will be looking like the one I have in mind soon.

Love it!

I have one more item to add to my Christmas wishlist: home theater seating! I would love to have one at home! When we watch a movie last month, we went to this cinema house in the country that is well-known for having really comfortable chairs and refillable drinks and popcorns. After that movie, I just know I have to have that theater seating. I love it! Just imagine seating on that while watching a DVD marathon at home… Bliss!
