100% determined!

I am fat. There, I said it out loud now. I owned it. I am not in denial of some sort. And I am declaring that I need help to lose weight. I need diet pills to go with the diet program I have right now. I want to lose weight faster and if the pills will help, why not?

Being overweight has always been my problem. Maybe I just don’t have the discipline to push forward. Maybe it’s in the genes because all women in the family (grandma, aunts, cousins) are all on the heavy side. I don’t really know. What I know is that I am now 100% determined to lose weight. Fast!

Cup of hot latte

Who doesn’t love a Starbucks coffee? Well, I do love a cup. It has become a habit when I go to this place that I would buy a cup of my favorite hot latte. Sometimes, I even ask my brother to go and get me a cup, especially when I am feeling under the weather. I also love their Chai tea. But I am not that particular with the brand. I can go to other coffee houses if it’s the only option I have.

Blend in perfectly

In the open market that we went to, we saw this tv lift cabinet that I really think will fit the corner in my bedroom. I love the old wood look of the cabinet. It will blend in with the other cabinets I have in my room. And it will be a space saver as well. If the open market is still open by the next payday, I think I will buy that one. I saw other items that I like and if there is a need at home, I will also buy those.

Bad lighting

When we went to the province a couple of months ago, the only complaint I have was the lighting. It was bad. Yellowish light that made the surroundings look so sad. I told my dad that the next time we would be going to his aunt’s place, I would shell out some money so they can replace even the light in their living room. We stay there a few times a year and it’s the least I can do in return for the open welcome they give us each time we go there.

Men!

I might not be able to relate to my boyfriend’s obsession with his Harley but I can understand it. Anyway, I am the same way with my books and my laptop. Hooked is the appropriate word for me, though. He is always on the lookout for Harley parts. I believe his biggest investment in life as of the moment is his Harley. Men! You’d think he would marry his bike if he could. Do I sound jealous?

Feast for the eyes

My sister and I went to this huge home and garden open market last week. It has almost everything you can think of for your home and garden. There were desk lamps that I wanted to buy half of the inventory, Moen faucets, lovely doorknobs, curtains of every shade, and of course, hundreds of variety of glassware! We feasted our eyes on all the lovely tea sets. Sigh. If we only have the money to buy even a few sets, we would have bought some for sure.

Three old women

My grandma has diabetes. My great aunts have illnesses of their own as well. And the three of them lives in a house near ours. We take care of them. I buy my grandma incontinence supplies almost every week. I recently bought her a wheelchair and a blood pressure monitor. There are so many things that she needs and I am trying to meet all of it. The same goes with my two great aunts. I love the three dearly because I grew up in the ancestral house and they were the ones who took care of me all that time.

Althea

My cousin has a lovely puppy. A Japanese Spitz. She is really so into her pet that she brings Althea, her pet’s name, everywhere she goes. If she can only bring Althea in school, she would have found a way to do so, I am sure. She bought her a bed of her own, some cute clothes, pet supplements, a comb and a tiara and other accessories that makes Althea even cuter. When they are together, you can see that my cousin loves Althea and Althea adores her “mum” so much!

Getting rid of it

If there is an acne treatment that my friend could avail of years ago, she would have grabbed it already. But there was none before. Oh there were some but it would have cost her an arm and a leg. Nowadays, getting rid of acne is easy. There are treatments available that correspond to ones budget. My friend is slowly getting rid of hers and I am sure we would be seeing a more beautiful her in a few more weeks.

Good thinking!

My sister was issued a mobile phone by her company. The phone is locked to a giant telecom network much the same with the personal cell phone of my sister. So what she will be doing is that, she will have the her personal phone unlocked. The unlocked phone will be subscribed to a competing network so she will have luxury of using it with the same subscribers. That way, it will be lesser cell phone charges for her.
