When my friends dropped by last weekend, I learned that one of them got axed from his work because of supposed negligence on his part. He was a technician and he got burned over this hot wire that got in the way when he was fixing a cable in a client’s office.
To make a long story short, since he was indisposed for a couple of weeks because of the injury, he was fired from his job. His boss reasoned out that it will be hard for him to troubleshoot again what with his right hand having torn ligaments and such. This is clearly a case of unfair dismissal. I just hope that my friend get the justice he deserve.
