A mattress bed for the relatives

We are always visited by relatives. Sometimes, they stay for just a few hours. There are a few times they’ve stayed overnight. I think they would have stayed overnight more if we have a place for them.

So anyway, my dad asked me to canvass for a mattress bed that we can put in the unoccupied room in the house. That way when a relative comes over, we have a place for them to stay at. I just hope it will only be two or three of them so they can fit into one mattress.

Notebooks and more notebooks!

Notebooks

I have a thing for cute notebooks. I buy one even if I don’t have any need for it. I don’t collect notebooks. I just buy them and store them for future use. Some I just use at first and then would just store it back. Until I find it dusty from storing it for too long.

Family and friends tease me about this thing. They know I can’t resist a cute notebook when I see one. So they just indulge me and let me buy it.

Rapid, safe and effective

We make mistakes. It’s a fact. I don’t think there’s one person in this world who can boast of a clean slate. We all go through stuff in our lives at one time or another. And when we fall, all we have to do is stand back up and start putting the pieces of our life together.

That’s what an opiate detox at the Las Vegas Rapid Detox Center can do. Help you pick up the pieces of your life. Try rapid detox. It’s safe and effective. No need to suffer anymore. Make that move and start getting back on your feet again.

Remodeling a house

Georgie wants one of those Kohler kitchen sinks that she saw online. She’s an interior designer and she is hired to remodel an old house. She has been eyeing that sink for quite some time now and Georgie thinks she can use it for her client.

If only I have the money, I would want to get Georgie’s services so we can have our interiors re-done. It’s quite chaotic now and it really needs the touch of an expert.

Plus, Georgie is really known for her modern touch. I like that very much!

Reputable organization

Bonnie had to take a break from her thesis to accompany her grandma to process her ssdi or social security disability insurance. Her grandma couldn’t walk the way she used to anymore. She’s suffering from rheumatism and it’s really debilitating at times.

A family friend told them about Allsup.com and her grandma is already considering it. It’s always better to be represented by a reputable organization because they know the ins and outs of the system. Her grandma just might get her insurance processed easily with Allsup.

Market love

To be able to see what’s happening at the park at the front of the building, he used his binoculars. There was a market set up that’s why there’s so many people in the park! He hurriedly dressed and decided to check out the market.

I love those dry and flea markets! I especially love the food offered and the novelty items you can see in it. I just don’t like that I impulsively buy so many things that I end up cluttering my place after a trip to the market. He-he-he!

General cleaning

There was a general cleaning at home last week. My dad wanted us to clear the bookshelves and closets and get rid of those we’re no longer using. I found so many old college textbooks of mine. I had it donated to the local library. It could benefit students of the same course. The old clothes were given to a local convent who’s also a charity.

My dad wants us to do this every month or every two months. Check out our things and give to charity or the community what we’re not using anymore. But only those still in good condition, of course.

Writing and writing!

Writing and writing and writing! It seems that it’s all I’m doing lately. I’m up from midnight to noon almost daily. Then at least three to four hours of sleep and then I am up again. It’s been like that for the past couple of weeks now that I think I might be in great need of the best eye cream already.

Anyway, let me just clarify here that I am not complaining. I thrive on this kind of set-up. I love my work and it’s the reason why I am up at night. And if it meant more and more work coming in, then I am very much willing to go sleepless as much as I can.

Calendars everywhere!

calendars

It’s funny that we have so many calendars at home. Now that I noticed it, I think we have a calendar in every corner of our house. We get so many calendars during the holidays and New Year’s celebration. Instead of giving most away, we keep it. I don’t know what the fascination with calendars is but I think we can qualify for the house with the most calendars in it.

Difficult pregnancy

Shiva is having a difficult pregnancy. Her doctor advised her to take a liquid prenatal vitamin and take lots of rest. If she will encounter another setback, she will be advised bed rest for at least three months.

I can understand what Shiva is going through. A very good friend of mine was also advised to rest for three whole months. Good thing her company allowed her to take a leave of absence that long. She was able to go back to work after but just two weeks and she’s back on bed rest again until her due date.

They say that when a woman is pregnant, one foot is inside her grave already. It is that dangerous! So follow doctor’s orders for a safe pregnancy and delivery.
